In my post here, Why the Lavender Tub?, I shared with you that my Edward gave me a 1929 house for our 9th anniversary. It is such a beautiful house; I still feel honored to live here. Would you like to see some of her charm.....
Some of the rooms have changed in their purpose and decor, but this old house stays lovely regardless of what she is wearing. I can take a little credit for attire, but her beauty is all her own.
Thanks for stopping by.......I appreciate it with all my heart.
Afterall,
"The ornament of a house is the friends who frequent it."
SHUT UP WITH THAT BATHTUB!!!!!! And that purple SINK!!
ReplyDeleteOMG OMG OMG I want it!!
My house was built in 1929.......ummmm you got a much better house!
I want to see more!! When can I come over? ha
I absolutely love your house and always have! I also love that it looks different every time we visit - you're so good at keeping things fresh. Speaking of, your sun room is looking GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteStunning home! Gorgeous shots too! Love everything about it! Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteHope to see you on my blog:)
Hi Ellie! Now what an anniversary present! Your home is beautiful! You've made me want to see more and more of it!
ReplyDeleteI'm popping over from Cindy's Show and Tell party.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
OMG! That lavender bathroom is to die for!! You home is so gorgeous it takes my breath away!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your lovely words! I honestly do feel very honored to live here and don't feel like we "own" this house, but instead have the pleasure of living here for awhile. I'm glad you enjoy my lavender bathroom, too. I certainly do.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous home and how unique is that lavender tub. Thanks for joining the party.
ReplyDeleteWow! A purple tub! Now if that does not make ya smile. What a grand home. Thanx for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour home is lovely! And, admittedly, I've never seen a lavender bathtub ... until now! I love it! The paint color in your breakfast area is so regal, as is your dining room! *Becca* (newest follower)

It's funny what a conversation piece my tub is in person and now on my blog. In fact, when people in town figure out where I live their response is always, "Oh, you live in the house with the big purple tub in the middle of the floor!"
ReplyDeleteAlso, Becca, (blush, blush) the breakfast and dining rooms are not those regal colors anymore. I promise I will post more current pics soon. I was trying to show the pretty details of the house, and the pics I chose did that. My bad!
I don't have a blog but I still hang out here and look and drool...i mean, dream. ha. I'm an Okie too. And LUV LUV LUV your home and of course purples are my fav. I'd be a prune if I had your bathroom. "tendr247"
