A Chandelier In The Trees

  I hung a chandelier in my tree!

I've always thought this table on our terrace would be a wonderful place to have tea parties with my little granddaughter - and it simply would not do without a chandelier for candlelight.

Or perhaps I hung it to give my Father and Mother-In-Law another reason to shake their heads at me.  They like to see the quirky things I do, but I can tell they really have no idea why I do them.  Their son is a CPA after all, and well.......he is organized, nice and neat........and I make things out of junk!

It was especially fun watching my FIL wonder how I got that chandelier hanging from a branch waaaaay up there.  It was quite difficult and took me almost a year of trying different things, but I finally did it!  I'm a little embarrassed to tell you the many things I tried......but let's just say I'm glad the neighbors windows are all stick in tact.

I think it is quite fun to look out our Dining Room French Doors and see it hanging there - ever so elegant.  It certainly is a conversation piece when people come over.
